Just to bring this to everyone's attention who fancies a day out on (or near) the South Coast (of England!):

Including the début appearance of the 'Canal Street' diorama...

I've set up a Photobucket folder for photos of the day, which hopefully I will be able to do via my phone:

Obviously nothing there yet!

Edit : Sorry, link was to the mobile version (hence small pics) - link has now been amended to hopefully show bigger pics

Have you tried clicking on a thumbnail image ? They should be a reasonable size?

Was pretty busy in the morning, then tailed off in the afternoon - was a good show, although i was conscious of less interest in what i was up to than last year.

Some excellent modelling.
I like the weathered American stuff.

From your layout the plod with the beggar is definitely 'Kings Cross - Camley Street'.
Just needs some 'girlies' plying for business now....
It looks very good with the upper level tracks and some stock.

Thanks for the forum plug too.

The Yankee locos are the work of David Buckingham - truly a wonderfully talented modeller. Were it not for the fact i was exhibiting, i would have pored over those models all day. He has a fantastic collection of high-quality photos of all his other works too.

I had a couple of people noting down the web address - one of them asked me to write it down for him!!! Whatever... One of them was getting into 5-inch sit-and-ride, so i mentioned that a few on here were interested in that sort of thing too.

Interestingly, the "Do Not Touch" signs were a great success! Strange that some punters assume that they (or their offspring) are entitled to touch unless expressly told otherwise Evil or Very Mad
