Some people will get very excited by this. bounce

Listen to the sound.......best I've heard so far.

I believe this was built by a chap called Steve Foster but I'm waiting for more information.

I found this. Seems that Mr Foster is the man. Look at the Sunday program.

Maybe the right one

He could be a member of the Midland group (the layout of the show track on the pics looks similar).

We need to find out more info about this marvellous machine,

2 stroke or 4 stroke, diesel or nitro? I guess a 2 stroke nitro.
It has twin engines and according further to You tube notes he keeps the glow plugs energised to keep the rpm down. The engines really sound like they are gurgling heavily.

This is similar to the situation and sound that the green monster has. Only the Warship is idling even slower and with 2 engines and a good deal more sophistication.

Green monster run

It does prove however that creating a resaonably realistic sound (with a 2 stroke?) is achievable and that keeping the glow plug energised is something that others have done too with success.

I'm going to try this with a Kyosho engine (maybe 2) and also get the green monster out again. Laughing

Shielded hot plug, 2 volt battery and probably high power fuel, plus a big heavy flywheel. I feel a new project coming on. See you later....king
