Incredible as it may seem in April we are on 'Orange Alert' here in Normandy for severe snow.

Up to 20 cms are forecast overnight and tomorrow morning.

I drove through a short lived blizzard today near Pont Audemer.

That means we've had snow in every month since last October.

Yep Crying or Very sad it was snowing all day here too, although it didn't lay.The temperatures here are very low along with the added wind chill factor.
I was going to take some time off over easter to start the foundations for the track rebuild.I'm glad I didn't.All the trees and shrubs have sort of given up.The buds are small and are refusing to leaf.
However, spring is on it's way and should arrive sometime in early June Very Happy to be followed by a short hot summer (about 20 minutes) and then a long hour and a half of autumn. Then snow.
I'm a happy,abeit frozen person Embarassed

No snow in Houston, but we also saw a brief retuirn of winter (at least its what we call winter) this week- temperatures in the single digits with cold, misting rain. There was even large hail (up to 10 cm diameter affraid) falling nearby; it did a lot of damage.

Hope that doesn't affect your Somme visit this weekend
