I've been to Canada many times, and yes the landscaping was worth it! I've always wanted to do it by train, and now maybe I have.

Unfortunately I have only been the once but the Super Continental from Union to Vancouver was fantastic, particularly as I did about 7000 miles on a 65 Canrail pass. Yes it was about 35 years ago.
