Had a day out half way south....

AMTP

A few pics and some film to follow. Always a pleasure to visit and it's been far too long since the last time.

Still a few more to sort out of inside the workshops and museum

Great pics of a great railway.

Nice to see you ogling a 32mm railway for a change Very Happy

Always fascinated me how the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland were built to 23.5 inches gauge which works out to about 59.7 cm so presumably interchangeable.

Excellent photos and what a varied and interesting Resau.

How many hours South of you?

I take it that with this many weekends away MIL is in residence silent

Well spotted that man from the south.... Cool

There were indeed some TDS characters.

Pithiviers is surprisingly 'close' and easy to get to, 2h 40mins with a clear road, Evreux-Dreux-Chartres-Toury.

No the MIL is not in residence, that's tempting fate now....... pale
