Sorry Mikey but I don't know off the top of my head any book that specifically deals with your era.

There are many books that deal with certain lines that includes information about the early 1900s.

I will have a look around.....

Don't despair it'll soon be spring. It is -10° here at the moment. What a Face

I have been in bed off and on the past few days with a bad ‘mai â la tête’ then the ground is to frozen and the workshop is to cold so roll on the spring.
If it snowed at least it would be pretty. study

Had deck chairs out this afternoon ....

.... well, I needed something from the shed and they were in the way Rolling Eyes

That said, I've been walking about in T shirts this winter .... we must be in a warm spot.

I've been getting used to the idea that less is more. I've been collecting Bachmann and LGB stuff for the last couple of years and I had a shed full of stuff that never saw the light of day. I decided that I would thin out what I didn't use and replace it with a neumerically smaller number of 1:20.3 stuff. I like it, its ......big and the detail is splendid. An additional bonus is that it is to scale, give or take.
I dont use tramlines on my railway, so the bigger wagons look OK, and more important, WILL go round the corners. afro
