 VML for Francophones

Hello all, I tried to join this French group tonight and find I am banned, is it that I have a bt internet email address. I see French Chuffed is on the forum.
Any ideas folks?

I've just been on there and there doesn't seem to be any problem with getting in to it. My email is a yahoo address though.

Is it possible that the BT internet email is treating the registration confirmation email as spam? Might be worth checking your 'spam' folder for anything from VML that needed you to click on a link to complete the registration. Just a thought....

I registered even with a ".co.uk" email address and admitting being based in London and France. They were quite nice about my French (quite rude about the Bretons and Italians on the Forum)...quite liked my postings about my railway. Obviously a fair few people who know each other well, but much more of our kinds of railway and good pics than another place I could mention...

BT must be for Breton then Geoff. I know when I teach that there is a helthy disrespect for les 'matelots et pirates'. Great music though.

VML is rather heavily south east and Swiss based and can get a bit 'cliquey' sometimes if your face doesn't fit or you get in a dispute and it can get be a bit personal and political.
They generally like Brits and have a good respect for 'us'.

I know some of them personally from the south like Pierre Malfay and his 'troupeau'.

But yes more our way of thinking but only in French.
