Sure would be an interesting model, if not a bit precarious. Someone is bound to have tried it (or died in the attempt).

Very interesting stuff.

The Lartigue model by Mark Horowitz is exceptionally well done has been documented elsewhere on the net.

But like the real thing it is unique in own right.

Seeing the pictures it is very tempting indeed to have a go at building one.

But I think I would be in big trouble if it's done before the new bathroom is fitted.

Oh - go on!

I assume Madame H hasn't seen the new bathroom at Geoff W's? And therefore it's not " a hill to die on"?

I know...What a bathroom... tongue I was scared to use it. I got lost in the glass shower.

My place is a suburban mess compared to these country manors you chaps have. I daren't let her near Geoff's house. I'd be spending the rest of my life (and money) doing D.I.Y..

If I can find some bits to make a working gyroscope I'll have a go when I've finished this tram. Providing that is no-one posts pictures of Armitage-Shanks products. Wink

And if Valérie finds out then I'll blame Laurent and he'll have to come and do my bathroom. Basketball

I might be at the poney club next sunday morning, hope Valérie will not find out before Sad

There's sometimes the possibility to make some project with the local "lycée technique".

They could make some bits and pieces, you have to provide the raw material and they do the rest as part as a project.

Just a hint, there's one in Chelles Carl

In my very long term project for the monorail, here the base of what i would like to built (later)

For the question how i did the drawing, i use one of the google software : SketchUp (it's free and useful).

I found this today on a Japanese website:

http://www.ne.jp/asahi/beat/non/loco/repo003/index2.html

Nearly at the bottom of the page, look for the words "Study on gyro monorail"

Actually, a very informative site generally... http://www.ne.jp/asahi/beat/non/loco/loco0e.html
