Once again I notice discrete visits from undesirables which I do not tolerate.

Sod off and leave this forum alone please.

I don't know what that is in German but the IP address is 89.149.241.118 from Frankfurt AM.

I have the names and addresses in Frankfurt. And also 'NetDirekt' in Berlin.

There are other similar addresses belonging to internetserviceteam.com

More info here.

Yes Ian,

It's only when you start doing public things on the net like running a forum that you realise the garbage that is out there trying to catch you and cause mischief.

We have come close to attack but fortunately this forum board server has some pretty resilient safety and protection features.
Plus I try to be constantly vigilent by identifying and blocking (groups of) IP addresses, hosts etc,.

I have software here that helps that and I can often get resource to seek out individuals or companies and I ALWAYS report net abuse to their service providers AND network carriers. bom

If somebody really had nothing better to do than corrupt and ruin this small innocent forum which is just a simple expression of people's hobby I would certainly be paying them 'a please explain' visit in person with my big friend and minder....Geoff, Flt Sgt type.
affraid

Map update is still on my 'to do list' but it's getting nearer the top. study
