Guys

This up on Ebay finishing tonight Ebay 180409536040

Ebay Billard

Delivery at 40 Euros is a bit extreme! Does anyone live near St. Martial de Nabirat?

Considering Apocopa sell the shells at 200 Euro plus - could be a bargain!

The sellers about 170 kms south of you Brian not sure where Mikey lives but I should think hes even closer.Theres a reserve on this, would think it would be around the 200 euro mark.
I never look on french ebay but the sellers name (rivrail) rings a bell for some reason.

I never bid on anything with a reserve. i dont know why sellers dont start the bidding at the reserve price instead of starting at zero or whatever.. When I've bid an amount still under the reserve i've often received an email from the seller offering the article at my last bid price.

Yes Graham Thomas (Nabirat) was part of Troy's forum but not here. And Rivrail is him too.
He does specialise in some nice French metre gauge stuff but looking at the photos this not some of it.

The body sits far to high and I can't see the correct bogies frames.
It doesn't say who built the kit but it doesn't look like Max's handiwork.

I don't think I'll bid but If I do 200 will be my top price. I'm sure he'll want a lot more than that, 500 plus I bet.

Good luck if anyone wants it. I can advise further about the bogies and where to get some cast reproduction sides.

The Billard is back on auction.

I tried a bid of 300 which still didn't meet the reserve. It's a bit scary to ask what he really wants for it. But I might e mail him.

Whilst you're in Ebay mode Carl, I think a while back you were after one of these for exhibitions?

Ernst is a great guy to deal with, and he's stopped using DHL for shipping since they lost my Massoth railbender!

I'll think about that one. It's something I could do with.

After relisting it, it sold for 500 to a single bid.

That must have been the reserve because there were no other bids between mine at 300 and this one.
