I've decided that during the course of spring-cleaning i would like to repaint all the rolling stock, just to get away from the colour green (it clashes with the trees and grass). The problem is that although I have a few books and postcards they are all black and white (apart from the enhanced ones which you never know are accurate colours!). I thought a matt antique brown would look the part. Anyone any other ideas?

Don't know if this helps at all Mikey, but on Railfan Europe there are some colour pics of the CFVE:

There's a decent pic of one van-type wagon that looks like terra cotta in colour, with black framing. Also, I am pretty sure I have seen a pic somewhere of a similar wagon but light grey in colour.

I guess the key to it is to vary the colour(s) slightly to give the impression of fading due to age and/or varying degrees of dirt and grime.

Having said that, bare wood and rust appear to be a very popular scheme on the CFTVD!

Edited to add:

Theres some good pictures there Clive. I just feel like changing the overall colour, after all its only three carriages and an autocar. I have a feeling brown is a very '1910' colour!!
