I saw this on e bay too.

MDT steam loco

I don't know anything about this (old) manufacturer but it looks well made.

And I've just seen these 'must haves' for Laurent.Laughing

Yellow maintenance loco

Yellow diesel
It's 'G' scale (1:22) on 64mm track

It seems the Fanny didn't sell - no bids. Looked like a bargain - I was tempted myself. Even with shipping to the US, it would have been <$650. But I'm still saving my sheckels for the "Cricket" I've ordered.

The MDT LOK is interesting - it does indeed appear well made. Looks a bit liike a Stainz.

The lok in the instruction pamphlet is very interesting - does the model actually exist? It looks like a rack lok. I know I've seen a full scale one like it somewhere on the internet - perhaps the Achenseebahn.

The Fanny didn't sell because it was a bit of a catch. The same loco can be had direct from Regner at 490 euros.

The Frieda went for 500 euros which could be bargain if the chassis had been well put together.

I wonder why people build just the chassis and sell the unfinished model.....?

I don't know about the model rack loco. That would be very interesting in live steam if it exists.

I took another look at the photo- it is the Achsenseebahn Lok. The description under the photo says "Modell Achsensee".
