That brings back memories! My brothers and I had the same engine back in the seventies. It ran on red plastic tracks. I believe it had also 2 coaches in blue/white livery.

Nice to see it running trough your garden. What did you use for RC?

Im am using a Pro Line speed controller with Acoms receiver and a HPI radio control unit from a rc car...although you do not get a sense from the video that the train is actually being controlled by me...

Yes the loco was originally sold with that red plastic track and there are two coaches just as you said which would have came with the loco. I would love to get hold of those coaches but they are more expensive then the locomotive son for the moment im not to fussed about them as i use this loco to test the track mainly as my interest is the live diesel power, this loco just makes sure that all the track can be used and that there are no parts which are deformed as the tinplate track seems to ripple a little with the weather.
