The lamp looks vaguely reminiscent of the LGB style one?

Like this, maybe?

A bit pricey, but they look the part...

Neat video by the way, i light the atmosphere that the streetlamp gives

Yes Patrick.
I've only managed to find 1 back wheel (to replace the one with the rubber bit (technical term Smile ))
The wheels have different length bits on them for the valve gear.
Let me know if this is OK and I'll send it on.I've got loads of different wheels and I didn't realise the difference, sorry.

Here's a pantograph car erratically driven by my daughter whilst you check Very Happy

It'll take a longer video, I am away until Sunday - I'll have a look /measure up then. One is for a Schoema and that does not have rods, so that one does not matter.

A couple of offerings from the BBC this week.

Go to BBC iplayer and search for trams.I think they were on BBC4

One was general, the other was Blackpool.

I saw the 'general' one on tv last Monday - I was amazed to see they included some archive footage of the Bristol trams. I am convinced one sequence showed Church Road, Redfield, a road I walked along on a 4x daily basis as a child during school days (I used to go home for lunch!). The trams had a depot-cum-generator station in Beconsfield Road, which was ultimately taken over by the then British Road Services. My brother served an apprenticeship there in the late 60's. Not surprisingly, it's gone now, having been built on for housing about 20 years ago.

A fascinating program indeed.

I was happy to visit the tramway last week! Trackwork was still to be done and the shed was a bit more crowdy than the first pictures here.Smile
We had a real good time! It was good to see it all in real life. Wink

Btw Thomas is still wondering if you found Grommit...
