Loved this! Just like being there! Sorry to have missed this and that civic duties will keep me away from Villebon this year. Couldn't help noticing in clip 1 that number of onlookers at G Gauge layout in background = 0, onlookers for live diesel = everybody Smile

We had the whole attendance with live diesels on Sunday. Everyone was captivated ...or maybe intoxicated with the fumes....

The photos and film don't really do it justice.

I'm so busy at exhibitions I just don't have time to relax and take decent pics.

At one time we were constantly running +2 live steam (yes we still do that..) and electric and then diesel.
As one steamer ran out it was refuelled and readied for the next run.
Bill's railcar did us proud and never stopped running too.

The layout gets bigger but we seem to have less space and time. scratch

I have some more film that I'll post in the next day or two.

Looking forward to RailExpo and we'll put on a jolly good show.

Here's the e mail text I received from TDS/Jean-Claude who organised it.

Marc et Jacqueline Enard pour leur 10 m de réseau normand et leur formidable assistant, Pierrick et Marie-Christine ;
Carl et ses amis, l’un venu d’Angleterre et l’autre du Texas, avec son réseau vapeur et ses incroyables machines ;
Guy Levassor et ses trains d’antan, accompagnés de la fameuse citerne en verre, pour le plaisir des grands et surtout des petits chefs de gare et son assistant Jean-Yves ;
Le réseau en G de TDS sur lequel de grands enfants tédésiens ont pu faire circuler leurs machines ;

And lastly, a couple of photos of a nicely done diorama by member of TDS (O scale as I recall):

I also have some videos of the steamers and diesels running which I'll post as soon as I get a chance to do some editing.

I forgot to upload this.....

The 2 diesels (Troy's bogie machine and my red thing) briefly running together.

It's a first.

The blue Brissoneau didn't get an outing but is being readied for it's public premier at RailExpo.
