I spent a very happy week visiting Caro in the UK and managed to take in a very happy day at the Bluebell Line in Sussex and met some great characters there....















On returning to France found the CFHC totally overgrown with weeds...





Shame I couldn't catch up with more UK based folks on this forum, but huge thanks to Phil K and Dorothy for putting up with me Monday night enroute to Stansted!

Superb pics Brian. The Bluebell is a national treasure and so well maintained.

Not quite, they've still 20% of the 1970's rubbish to clear from the cutting. But they reckon it will be open for next April.

For the time being the active service ends here...
